Pag Lace 07

This lace has three main layers.

The center dot is a steering wheel (“Kolumbarič”) surrounded by arc lines (“Ročelice”). It is forming a blooming like flower. The second layer is formed by opposite almond-shaped elements (“Mendulica”), forming a rhombus, connected by river elements (“Retki Dintel”), like a shining sun. The third layer consists of eight squares, each of which is connected by a leaf element (“Listacić”). An overall structure of square and circle symmetry is displayed.

This work takes about 3 weeks to sew.
